The APDCAT takes part in the 1st Days of Debate and Reflection on Video Surveillance

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) participates on May 15 at 10 a.m. in the First Days of Debate and Reflection on Video Surveillance, organized by the Directorate General of Security Administration (DGAS) of the Department of Interior of the Generalitat de Catalunya. It is a cycle of six days that includes the collaboration of the APDCAT, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Barcelona, the University of Girona, the University of Lleida, the Pompeu Fabra University and the Rovira University and Virgil

Specifically, the Head of Regulatory Projects and Legal Studies at the APDCAT, Cristina Dietrich, will address the issue of the presence of cameras at public events, how to define what public security is and the red lines between public and private space.
