Result of the resolution: Set aside/dismissed
A mother reported that the school had requested that on the first day of the 2021-2022 school year they provide the COVID-19 vaccination certificate for their underage child (aged 12 or older); that the certificate was also requested from the school staff, and that the school had access to the Traçacovid computer application. The complaint is shelved because, although it is true that the school initially asked them to do so, before the start of the school year, it informed the mothers and parents of pupils not to provide it (based on a last-minute amendment to the Action Plan for the 2021202022 academic year for schools within the framework of the pandemic); on the other hand, it is also shelved because there is no record that the school had collected any certificate of vaccination, and that the school denied both that it required the certificate from its staff, and that it had accessed the Traccovid, and there are no indications of it. In addition to the archival reasons, it concludes that the processing of health data by educational establishments for the management of positive cases of COVID-19 would be covered by the GDPR 6.1.e) and 9.2.g) and i) .
