Today, the SX3 and 3Cat platforms premiere a new season of the INFLUENX3R program, in which 15 new contestants aged between 16 and 22 compete to be the best content creator through different proposed challenges. Conducted by Carla Laubaló and with the participation of Albert Roig and Paula Alós, this edition has the collaboration of the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT), which aims to promote awareness around culture of privacy in the use of the internet and social networks among the youngest.
The program is presented this time in a more talent show format, with candidates, jury and eliminations in each program, following the style of other successful proposals such as Eufória, and in a new, larger space, with a young audience from fifth grade and sixth grade. Participants must overcome various challenges, creating content around different proposed topics, such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, culture...
A jury formed by Albert Roig, Paula Alós and another expert in the field, which will change according to each topic, will be in charge of assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each video presented, and proposing three nominees each time. The ratings will serve to raise awareness regarding security and data protection. The focus will also be on the appearance of elements that do not respect privacy, and will focus on aspects such as asking permission if other people appear, or avoiding showing elements that facilitate identification and location, among others. In addition, young people will also play a leading role in evaluating the videos and 'saving' one of the nominated candidates.
In addition to being a judge, Albert Roig will talk in short funny pills about how to be careful in the digital world and anticipate scares on social networks, with cookies, cyber attacks, the dangers of AI, or the digital trail. ..In this way, in addition to entertaining, the aim is to promote informative content that serves to teach young people how to achieve digital autonomy, emphasizing security and privacy in particular.
