The Catalan Data Protection Authority has made available to more than 200 libraries of the Diputació de Barcelona a set of resources, games and materials designed for children, young people and adults, with the aim of raising awareness of privacy to citizens
The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) and the Provincial Council of Barcelona have started a collaboration to bring data protection closer to 234 libraries and 12 library buses in the network. Thus, they have made available to the libraries a set of resources and materials designed by the APDCAT intended to raise awareness among citizens through games and recreational activities.
The collaboration is part of the project 'Who are you? Data that speak about you', which started in 2023 as a pilot project in a small group of libraries, in the area of the Generalitat.
