The APDCAT joins the debates in the 73rd meeting of the Berlin group

The APDCAT Technology and Security coordinator, Albert Serra, has participated in the debates organized, together with representatives of other data protection authorities in Europe, Asia and North America and international organizations committed to data protection.

Thus, the meeting has served to debate the current challenges in privacy and the challenges of emerging technologies, such as neurotechnology and language models used in artificial intelligence (LLMs).

Within the framework of the meeting, two articles and resolutions have been approved and published that give guidelines and recommendations in the defense of privacy in the use of facial recognition systems and digital currency.
