The APDCAT participates in the Mobile World Congress 2023

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) participates from March 27 to 2 in the 4YFN event, as part of the Mobile World Congress, and thus consolidates its presence in this international event that brings together the sector of 'entrepreneurship and emerging companies. This year, the central axis of the scheduled activities is how to achieve a competitive advantage with the design of products and services that respect privacy, and thus improve the protection of people's rights.

 

Thus, on the one hand, on Tuesday February 28, at 10 a.m., the APDCAT is organizing the Take advantage of privacy conference, which will have the participation of Gabriela Zanfir-Fortuna, vice-president of Global Privacy at the Future of Privacy Forum, and Meritxell Borràs, director of the Catalan Data Protection Authority. The event will take place in the Agora Stage room, in Hall 8.1.

 

In addition, the APDCAT will have a permanent space for advice, dissemination and public awareness, and also a 50 m2 stand (B15) located in Hall 8.1, which will host several events.

 

In this sense, the people attending will be able to participate in the Privacy Warrior Challenge, a game of questions and answers specially designed for the occasion, in which the people participating will be able to test their knowledge in the matter, with recognition included.
