Conference 'AI and fundamental rights: the Catalan FRIA model and algorithmic transparency'

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) will participate on Wednesday, March 12 at 4:30 p.m. in the conference 'AI and fundamental rights: the Catalan FRIA model and algorithmic transparency', as part of the Digital Government 2025 Congress, organized by the AOC and Localret.

The DPD and head of strategic projects, Joana Marí, will talk about the Catalan FRIA model, a rigorous methodological framework for assessing the impact of AI on fundamental rights, especially in high-risk systems. This model, recently presented by the APDCAT, proposes a methodology to comply with the obligation established in art. 27 of the RIA and exemplifies it in 4 real use cases.
