The APDCAT participates in the 74th meeting of the Berlin Group

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) is participating on November 18 and 19 in Brussels in the 74th meeting of the International Working Group on Data Protection in Technology (IWGDPT), known as the Berlin Group. The coordinator of Technology and Information Security of the APDCAT, Albert Serra, will attend the meeting, which this time will revolve around the 20th anniversary of the European Data Protection Supervisor. Thus, the scheduled activities will highlight the Supervisor's contribution to the monitoring of new technologies and their impact on privacy. The meeting will also serve to continue discussions around topics such as neurotechnologies and augmented reality, and to open new ones, such as the future of cloud services.
