A newly created football club contacted the Catalan Football Federation since when it tried to link sixteen players to its club, the federative Intranet showed him a message informing him that the aforementioned players were linked to another sports club. In this regard, the complainant complained about the fact that the FCF had sent screen impressions to the newly created club that contained the personal data of the 16 players who, at that time, were linked to another club. Well, on the other hand, the denounced entity has recognized having sent the screen impressions - with personal information of the players (name, surnames and ID) - to the newly created club, for the purposes of showing him the steps he had to follow in order to register the players, and he has argued that this fact does not constitute an illicit communication of personal data since the receiver of the information, was already aware of these information. In this regard, he added that, the Intranet shows the aforementioned message after the club has entered the personal data of the players. In these terms, it is appropriate to file the reported facts since, when the FCF sent the personal data of the players to the Club that tried to register, it already had the information.
