The Coordinator of Technology and Security of Information is responsible for:
a) Offering strategic advice to the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) management team on all aspects of technology, and analysing the impact on privacy of emerging technologies, through studies based on scientific techniques and methodologies.
b) Managing the APDCAT ICTs, and exercising the responsibilities of head of corporate security, taking into consideration the developing situation of technological evolution in the field of datafication and growth of the digital society.
c) Managing and coordinating advice and support in matters of technologies and information security in line with the needs and specific concerns of each department, be they general or specific in terms of data protection.
d) Conducting risk impact assessments with respect to APDCAT personal data, proposing preventive actions and multidisciplinary solutions, and managing and coordinating advice and support to the Inspection Department in the field of information security and preventive audit plans.
