Inspection and Technical Department

The Inspection Department is responsible for the powers of inspection attributed to the Catalan Data Protection Authority by article 19 of Law 32/2010 of Oct 1st.

Specifically, the Inspection Department is responsible for the exercise of the following functions:

a) Examining the information supports containing personal data.

b) Examining the physical and logistical equipment.

c) Examining the data transmission and access systems.

d) Doing audits of the computer systems.

e) Requesting the submission or handling of documents and data.

f) Conducting the penalty proceedings.
