APDCAT participates in the AI Congress to discuss fundamental rights

Joana Marí, DPO and Head of Strategic Projects at APDCAT, will speak at the AI Congress with the lecture “AI Systems and Fundamental Rights: Legal Compliance and Competitive Advantage in a Global World”. She will present the Catalan FRIA model for a respectful AI, promoted by the Authority within the “DPD en Xarxa” community, with the support of expert professor Alessandro Mantelero.

The congress will take place on October 22–23 at the l’Illa Diagonal auditorium. More than 50 speakers, specialists in various fields of artificial intelligence, will participate. It will also be a space for companies to share how they are addressing AI in the future.

The AI Congress is an event organized by the Center for Innovation in AI and Data Technologies (CIDAI) and Eurecat, within the framework of the Artificial Intelligence Strategy of Catalonia promoted by the Government of Catalonia.
