APDCAT participates in the Global Privacy Assembly

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) joins for one more year the activities of the Global Privacy Assembly (GPA), which this year is held from October 28 to November 1 in Jersey. The director, Meritxell Borràs, and the head of Legal Advice, Xavier Urios, will attend, to share experiences and knowledge with representatives of more than a hundred data protection authorities from around the world. This year, the debates will revolve around topics such as innovation, information, integrity and independence. The aim is to discuss the new challenges and challenges in the field of privacy and reach joint positions on issues of global interest.

In this edition, the APDCAT will actively participate in the 'Regional challenges of disruptive technologies' table, on October 31 at 3:00 p.m. The aim is to share knowledge and experience in the field.
