Xavier Urios Aparisi, Head of the Legal Advisory Office of the APDCAT, will take part on July 4 in the round table "AI and experiences in the public sector", as part of the summer course "Towards Ethical Artificial Intelligence: challenges for human rights and data protection", organized by the Ararteko and the Basque Data Protection Authority (AVPD).
The session, which will be held at the Miramar Palace in San Sebastián, will focus on the methodology and impact assessment of artificial intelligence in the public sector. Urios will share the panel with representatives from Osakidetza and other sector professionals.
The course, held on July 3 and 4, aims to reflect on the ethical and social challenges of AI and promote the exchange of good practices for a responsible application of this technology in areas such as public administration, health, and citizen security.
