The APDCAT, present at the 47th Global Privacy Assembly, Seoul

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) is participating from 15 to 19 September in the 47th Meeting of the Global Privacy Assembly (GPA), the international forum that annually brings together entities and institutions linked to data protection from around the world, and which this year will take place in Seoul, Korea.

The director, Meritxell Borràs i Solé, and the head of the Legal Department, Xavier Urios Aparisi, will join the program of conferences and sessions to share experiences and knowledge with the rest of the participants. This year, the meeting will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on people's daily lives, especially with regard to privacy.
