APDCAT and EAPC organise a new edition of the training sessions on artificial intelligence and data protection for public sector staff

Following the success of the first edition last June, APDCAT and the School of Public Administration of Catalonia (EAPC) will hold the second edition of the training sessions on artificial intelligence and data protection on 4, 6 and 11 November, aimed at public sector staff of the Government of Catalonia and local administrations.
The sessions will address the role of the Artificial Intelligence Regulation and the AI systems affected by this legislation. They will also clarify various legal and technological concepts and provide an overview of the current state of AI within the Government of Catalonia and local authorities.
The three sessions will delve into how to correctly apply AI regulations, clarify technological concepts and highlight the role of supervisory authorities, led by data protection experts from APDCAT and the Government of Catalonia, the Centre for Information and Communication Technologies of the Government of Catalonia (CTTI), the Directorate General for Digital Services and Citizen Experience (DGSEC), and the AOC Consortium. The course will be delivered in a blended format, combining in-person sessions with individual work.

- Albert Serra Pagès, Technology and Information Security Coordinator at APDCAT.
- Joana Judas Sánchez, Data Protection Officer at the Department of Research and Universities.
- Núria Majó Crespo, Data and Artificial Intelligence Management Consultant at CTTI.
- Josep Maria Flores Juanpere, Head of Innovation and AI at DGSEC.
- Carme Callés González, Head of Innovation Service - Strategy and Innovation Deputy Directorate at the AOC Consortium.
- David Pastor Vila, Head of Service - Innovation and Data Deputy Directorate at the AOC Consortium.
