Decalogue of Data Protection

The pandemic generated by COVID-19 has increased the use of the Internet and telework exponentially. In order to bring together concepts related to data protection in this context, the Catalan Data Protection Authority has drawn up a Decalogue of Data Protection.

The Decalogue summarizes the rights and threats regarding data protection of minors such as cyberbullying and cyberbullying. At the same time, the document raises and recommends how to avoid threats in particularly sensitive categories, such as medical data, provides recommendations on sharing information on social networks, artificial intelligence, teleworking, mobile device security, the Internet of Things and video surveillance.
